Objective:

For this motion graphics project, I created an animated version of the theme song for the popular Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil. The song, performed by Lake Street Dive, celebrates Phil’s global culinary adventures—his travels to different countries, exploring diverse foods, and connecting with fascinating people.

My goal was to visually capture the essence of Phil’s food journey, using imagery that represents the cultures, cuisines, and connections featured in the series. Through vibrant animations, playful typography, and cultural references, I wanted to immerse viewers in the dynamic and joyful world of Somebody Feed Phil.

The motion graphic celebrates the universal love for food as a tool for connection and discovery. By incorporating colorful, detailed designs, I strived to reflect the global nature of the show and its positive, heartwarming energy. Each frame is a visual tribute to the diversity of the world’s food cultures, with a focus on creating an inviting and engaging experience that mirrors Phil’s own travels.
